Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful week. My mom and Larry came into town last Sat. Monday, we exchanged gifts among the five of us and had our Christmas dinner. After that, we went to John and Sharon's to celebrate Christmas with John's side of the family. We all made out like bandits, even B.O.B. My mom and Larry headed to Michigan for my great aunt's funeral. They came back on Thurs. and headed back to Arkansas on Fri. Yesterday, we went to Eureka and celebrated Christmas with my Dad and Pennye. It was another wonderful Christmas dinner and gift exchange. I have had a good week!!! but couldn't get him to look at the camera.
Oh well.

Crazy week!!!

This has been a whirlwind of a week for me. On Wed., my grandfather passed away in Michigan. He would have turned 95 this Feb. My dad, step-mom, Jay and Stevie went to Michigan for the funeral services. I stayed home because my tailbone has been bothering me and I wasn't sure I could handle the 8 1/2hr car ride (1 way). Then today, my mom and Larry headed up to celebrate Christmas and my mother got the phone call this am that her Aunt had passed away this morning. My mom and Larry are headed to Michigan on Tues. to be there for the services for her Aunt on Wed. Hopefully things will be brightening up for the holidays.

Tonight, we went to dinner with Tara and her brother Reese. We came back to the house and exchanged gifts amongst us, missing Jay of course. He said he wanted us to do it tonight though because Tara has to work for the next 3 nights and my mom won't get to see her this trip otherwise. Here is the most recent prego belly shot of ME though. I had mom take it tonight in front of our Christmas tree!!

Busy Weekend!!

Saturday was a busy day at our house. Scotty, Brian, John and Jay put together all of B.O.B.'s furniture. It looks really good. The room (walls) is still bare. Scotty and I are debating over the walls and what exactly we are going to do. The painting will probably happen in Jan. Scotty was going to put up some lights around the roof of the house, but the weather spoiled that. He then had to go to work for a little while. I don't have any pictures to show yet of the furniture, but I will put some up this week. Sat. I spent the whole day baking cookies. Yummy!!!!!

Thanksgiving!!! And much more!!

After going to my dad's on Thanksgiving Day, I had to work 12 hours, but Fri. morning we headed down to Arkansas to spend the weekend with my mom and Larry. Fri. night, Jodie and her daughter, Kailyn, came over to hang out and then my bud Desiree stopped by to say hi!! Here are some pics of us girls. Oh, by the way, I'm the prego one in the middle!! Ha-ha!!

Last Wed., I had 2 teeth pulled on the right side of my mouth. So, I've kind of had a rough week. I am hoping that I am finally on the road to recovery. I had a lot more pain than I thought I would. It has hurt more than when I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth surgically removed!!!

This weekend, we had dinner with Jay, Tara, and her brother, Reese. We went to the Outback because B.O.B. and I were craving a baked sweet potato. It was fabulous!!!

Scotty and I then went Christmas shopping. We actually got a lot accomplished this weekend. Today, the tree went up. I even wrapped some of the many presents we bought in the last 2 days. Here is an updated pic of me and B.O.B. though. I am 27 weeks and 3 days here. I can really feel a lot of movement. B.O.B. did not enjoy it went I had my teeth pulled. I could feel he/she squirming all over the place trying to figure out what all the stress was about. We are doing pretty good though. I saw the Doc. on Sat. morning to take my glucose test (results still pending). I actually lost 2 lbs in the last 3 weeks, so the Doc actually told me to EAT MORE!! He told me that he doesn't get to say that too often. Oh well. I'm trying!!

Belly Shot!!

OK everyone. Here is a belly shot of me & B.O.B. from Sat. Nov 17th. There is actually a baby in there I promise. I feel lots of kicks and movement through out the day. I am actually 25 weeks and 3 days here. I will take more pictures and post them as things continue to progress!

B.O.B. update!!

We went to the doc yesterday and had an ultrasound. B.O.B. is doing great. THE CYST IS GONE!!! (Everything else looks good too.) The baby is weighing in at 1lb 14 oz. The doc says that is right on schedule. He/she is in a vertex position, which is head down. The hear rate was 144. We even got a glimpse of the face which is now more that skin and bone. It looks like B.O.B. has a bit of a big nose, the Johnson nose, and full lips. We are so excited. He/she is soooooo beautiful!!!!

Ok! Ok! I'm SORRY!!!

I have had lots of "comments" about not updating the blog. I forgot to post the following after all the excitement was over. I was going to update that almost 2 weeks ago, Scotty's dad, John, fell at home and was taken to the ER. In the ambulence, on the way to the hospital, his heart went into v-tach and the only way to get his heart rhythm back to normal was to defibrillate or schock him. He spent 3 nights in the hospital and had surgery on NOV 5 he had surgery and had a pacemaker/internal defibrillator placed. His doctor told him that he has to change his diet, lose some weight, and take over all better care of himself. He told the doc that he would have no problems making changes because he wants to be around to see his grand-baby born! That almost made me cry. He is at home now and doing well. I'm not sure how long he is going to be off of work though.

Confused about blogging!!!

I have a question for you expert bloggers. If someone leaves a comment, what is the best way to respond. Do I e-mail, leave a comment on his/her blog or what? I'm not really sure what the best answer is. Thanks for your help!!

No new updates.

Not much has gone on in the last week. We went shopping on Sat. and looked at baby strollers, highchairs, playpens, etc. No major purchases. We did give Tara the bed from Jay's room and moved the bed from the baby's room into Jay's room. Now there's a huge open space in B.O.B.'s room. We went to my dad's house in Eureka on Sun. to eat lunch and hang out. That was the extent off our exciting week.

What About B.O.B?

Some of you might be wondering who B.O.B is? B.O.B. is short for Baby On Board. B.O.B is what were have decided to call our unborn baby because Scotty and I have decided not to found out the baby's sex before delivery. B.O.B. was suggested by one of my co-workers and seems to be much cuter and simpler than it or he/she. So B.O.B. it is until the delivery date!!!

Matt & Jen's Housewarming/Halloween Party

I went dressed comfy in my Halloween pajama's, while Scotty was able to squeeze into his Eagle Scout's uniform. It was a relaxing night with friends.
